Yahoo DFS Picks Week 14: Tips on Composing the NFL DFS for Daily Fantasy GPP Football Tournaments

The Snake Leader for our Week 14 Yahoo DFS tournament lineup is Taysom Hill, who reminded us how quickly he can turn a bad game in real life into a fantastic performance worth it. It is complemented by what we believe to be a strong group of skill position players who offer high caps without presenting too much of the “all or nothing” risk that we will often assume with our picks when pursuing GPP success.

This might be one of our more chalky DFS ranges, but we love the potentially upsetting production setup here.

quarterback | Back | Wide receiver | Tight end | D / ST | Kicker

Before detailing our choices, let’s recall some key rules for Yahoo DFS. It’s essentially the same as FanDuel, with Four Point Pass TDs and PPR half point.

Yahoo DFS chooses week 14: NFL DFS lineup for GPP tournaments

Main Sunday roster, $ 200 budget, no more than six players on the same team.

WEEK 14 LINEUPS DFS: DraftKings | FanDuel

  • Hill completed 46% of his passes and threw four interceptions last Thursday, but he still finished with a fantastic 24.66 points thanks to 101 rushing yards. Keep an eye out for the finger injury Hill intends to try to get through, as it could hamper his accuracy and effectiveness. It’s Hill’s legs that make the heart of his fantastic potential pound, so he should always be able to rack up some fantasy points against poor Jets defense.

  • Fournette has been on a good streak lately, and he followed his 40.6-point blowout with a strong performance of 18.7 points. Not only has he totaled five touchdowns in his last two games, Fournette has also been busy as a receiver, capturing 28 passes on 31 targets in his last four games. The Bills will be over a short week and play in hot conditions, perhaps setting the stage for Fournette to create another screaming fantasy score.

  • The football team kept the volume tap flowing for Gibson, who hit 28 touches in last week’s win over the Raiders. He wasn’t particularly efficient – 111 yards total – but he caught five assists and found the end zone in the air. JD McKissic (concussion) will reprise his key role on his return, but the football team have won four on the spin, and they probably aren’t going to stop giving Gibson plenty of opportunities this week.

  • The Panthers have gone through a rough patch. They were wiped out by the Dolphins in week 12 and fired offensive coordinator Joe Brady in week 13. Moore is having a good season and with Christian McCaffrey (ankle) on the set he represents the best offensive weapon. from the list. It stands to reason that interim OC Jeff Nixon will make sure his best player plays football as the Panthers try to keep their slim playoff hopes intact.

  • The teams who tried to kidnap Ja’Marr Chase learned it wasn’t such a straightforward endeavor with Higgins on the other side. Higgins has shot 22 targets over the past two weeks, scoring once in each game and surpassing the 20 point mark in both competitions. Chase will ultimately be the clear alpha receiver in this offense, but that won’t stop Higgins from delivering his own dominant performances.

  • With Calvin Ridley (staff) sidelined and Kyle Pitts finding his way as a rookie, Gage has become one of Matt Ryan’s most trusted targets. He has received 27 looks in the past three weeks and has scored at least 15.2 fantastic points in his last two games. With defenses focused on Pitts and Cordarrelle Patterson, the Falcons will need to keep calling Gage’s number.

  • It sounds like a recency bias after Kittle’s explosion last week (35.1 fantasy points), but there’s never anything wrong with betting on one of the best tight ends in the game. Deebo Samuel (groin) probably won’t be ready to contribute his typical load – if he’s active at all – and Kittle will be a major factor in the Niners’ game plan. He will certainly be at the heart of the Bengals’ defensive plans as well, but they’ve allowed the second-highest number of fantasy points at tight ends.

  • Fantasy owners and football pundits have been eagerly awaiting Williams to win his chance to lead the Broncos backfield, and he didn’t disappoint. Williams shot 29 touches – including six receptions – for 178 total yards, one touchdown and 26.8 points on Sunday night. We might not know if Melvin Gordon (hip) has a ticket for a comeback until the weekend, but even though he’s active Williams may have done enough to claim the lead for the rest of the season.

  • The Chiefs delivered a fantastic 15.0 points against the Cowboys before their leave and scored 17.0 against the Broncos coming out of the break. The Raiders, meanwhile, have failed to score 20 points in four of their last five games and could do without their best player, Darren Waller (knee). Even though Waller manages to adjust and play well under 100%, the Chiefs and Raiders are moving in opposite directions, and this is a place where Chiefs’ defense and special teams could wreak more havoc.
