With Sc’S Interim Relief, Shinde can demand ground test, Aaditya Thackeray says 15-16 of Guwahati in touch with Sena
Maharashtra crisis live updates:
As the Supreme Court grants interim measures to the rebel side following the disqualification notice, Eknath Shinde may soon request a ground test, demanding that the Uddhav Thackeray-led government prove its majority. Meanwhile, Uddhav’s son and minister of state, Aaditya Thakeray, asked rebel MPs if there was no more humanity. He also claimed, “There are two groups of people in Guwahati – there is a group of 15 to 16 people who are in contact with us, some of them recently.” On Monday, the Supreme Court granted interim measures to the rebel side over the notice of disqualification and released the case for hearing on July 11. The state government was plunged into crisis after Shiv Sena’s Eknath Shinde rioted against the party and led a group in Guwahati.
