Chilean hero Brereton Diaz won’t be in Qatar but ex-Liverpool star Allen will

The main international players present in the Championship last season from Fulham, Bournemouth and Nottingham Forest have all been promoted.

This includes Serbian Aleksandar Mitrovic, Danish midfielder Philip Billing and Welsh starlet Brennan Johnson.

And it remains to be seen whether those from relegated Premier League sides who take their place will remain in the Championship.

Burnley striker Wout Weghorst and Watford’s Ismaila Sarr will both be aware of being in Qatar as they consider their future this summer.

While Blackburn’s cult hero Ben Brereton Diaz will certainly not be flying the flag either after Chile failed to qualify for the World Cup.
