The new season of The Bachelorr will premiere on January 23, 2023. The season will begin with a two-hour episode, airing from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. ET on ABC.

Zach Shallcross, who appeared in the final season of the bachelorette like love for Recchia – was confirmed as the next star of The single person during the bacheloretteseason finale.

Shallcross, 26, is a tech executive from Anaheim Hills, Calif., but currently splits his time between Texas and Orange County.

According to ABC’s website, he’s an “old-fashioned romantic” who has “a huge heart that he’s so ready to share forever with the right woman.”

The new Bachelor is close to his family and, like the bachelorette fans know, his uncle is family guy Patrick Warburton. The actor, who also appeared on Agents of SHIELDeven featured in an episode of the bachelorette when the contestants visited their hometowns.

The votes were cast on Twitter and the honor ultimately went to Thorbourne, meaning she will be safe from elimination in the first episode of The single person Season 27.
