A 25-year-old young woman filed a complaint of rape against Sébastien Cauet. She accuses him of having forced her to perform oral sex on him in 2014 and 2022, BFMTV learned from the Bourg-en-Bresse public prosecutor’s office, confirming information from The Obs.

The radio host “firmly contests” the facts with which he is accused, his lawyer said, and filed several complaints in a few days.

• First events in a hotel in 2014

Julie, 25 years old today, filed a complaint for facts dating back to 2014. At that time, passionate about radio, the young girl, still a minor, won a competition to go to Disneyland with Sébastien Cauet and his team.

According to her comments during the auditions, that day, the host, whom she considered “almost like an idol”, left her his telephone number and they began to write to each other with “rather normal” exchanges. In November 2014, he suggested that she go see him mix in Geneva, which she did with her sister and brother-in-law.

She then goes to a hotel with a radio model. “Come show me your model,” Sébastien Cauet allegedly suggested, inviting Julie’s sister and brother-in-law “to go to the casino or do what they have to do.” “I go up for five minutes with Julie and we come back down,” he reportedly said.

According to him, Sébastien Cauet then approached him and said: “sit on the sofa”. And added: “that’s how you succeed in radio, you have to do it.”

“Me, at 15, that’s what I did,” she says, in tears, on BFMTV. She then allegedly performed oral sex on him for a few seconds, interrupted by the insistence of her sister’s calls.

After 2014 – still according to Julie’s version during her auditions – she remained in contact with Sébastien Cauet. He checks in on her regularly and quickly turns to topics with sexual connotations.

Then, in March 2022, she says she posted a story on social networks indicating she was in Paris. He answers her, asks her if they can see each other and they arrange to meet in front of the NRJ premises.

The 50-year-old producer takes her by car to the underground parking lot of her building. He parks and again he asks her to give him oral sex. It was then that he partially undressed, in a manner similar to 2014. She remembers wanting to get out of the car, to which he replied: “You won’t go far anyway, he You need a badge to get out.” Feeling constrained, she ends up doing it “to get it all over with.”

Since then, Julie has assured us on our channel that she “tried to end my life” because this affair “destroyed her family”.

• Cauet “firmly contests” and files a complaint

Informed of the young woman’s complaint, Sébastien Cauet “firmly contests” its content, his lawyer said in a press release on Tuesday.

“Sébastien Cauet is at the disposal of the justice system and the police services, in which he has full confidence and will calmly provide the elements likely to demonstrate the inanity of the accusations brought against him,” continued Me Simon Clemenceau.

The host immediately decided to “file a complaint for slanderous denunciation against the author of these serious unfounded accusations with the public prosecutor of Nanterre”.

• Various accusations on social networks

Since October, circulating on X (formerly Twitter),messages – unauthenticated – of a sexual nature, very explicit, attributed to the animator. A young woman thus published what she claims was an exchange between Sébastien Cauet and her, when she was still a minor. Another assures that Cauet would have made the same type of remarks to her on WhatsApp.

A third indicates, still on X, that she also “tried to talk about it a year ago”. All these testimonies were highlighted and relayed by a pseudonymous account, used to relaying rumors and followed by more than 140,000 subscribers on Twitter.

“I am deeply shocked by the accusations made against me here,” he reacted on the social network. “These allegations are completely false, fabricated and defamatory.”

According to the Nanterre public prosecutor’s office, two complaints for “harassment of a person by means of a public online communication service” were submitted by the host on Wednesday.
