At the end of March, I went on vacation to Mexico. It was a great last minute trip, so I didn’t have much time to prepare, and I felt incredibly exhausted trying to pack my bags. As I ate slices of Kraft’s American singles, I scoured dozens of travel blogs for packing tips and advice on staying safe as a solo traveler in a foreign country.
What I’ve found are many packing guides just for clothes, with lots of photos of folded laundry from bloggers. While I’m enjoying a good #OOTD time, I needed advice on what toiletries and other practical life items you’d want with you on a trip abroad. So, in the name of DIY, I decided to make one myself.
From packable backpacks to mini bug spray, here are all the packable things that come in handy when traveling alone (or with friends!) in a foreign country.
