West Ham players’ ratings against Everton: Outstanding Angelo Ogbonna and Declan Rice; Kurt Zouma impresses again

ngelo Ogbonna scored the only goal as West Ham fought for a 1-0 win over Everton.

Simon Collings was at Goodison Park to lead the Hammers…

I didn’t have much to do on a fairly quiet afternoon. Whatever happened to the Pole he cared little about.

Quite solid defensively, but did not offer the same threat in the future as Vladimir Coufal.

Another good game from the Frenchman, who has fitted in perfectly since his move from Chelsea this summer.

Angelo Ogbonna 8 | Star man

Probably the best player in West Ham over the 90 minutes. Made a number of vital blocks and also appeared with the winning goal.

A decent left rear display, which seemed to cause some issues when he was able to move forward. Strong in defense.

The midfielder is so vital for this West Ham team. Barely put a foot wrong the whole game and, especially in the first half, controlled the game.

Protected the defense well with Rice and went out of his way. Had a goal ruled out for offside.

Provided the goal with a large corner. Also came closer in the first half with an effort that Soucek captured, only for the Czech to be flagged offside.

Lots of good construction game, but its game lacked a final product. A frustrating afternoon for the playmaker.

Clean and tidy throughout the game. He almost scored when he tried to fold one from the edge of the box.

Quiet afternoon for the attacker. Worked on his socks as always, but failed to secure many opportunities. Reserved for diving.
