Watch Taylor Swift calm down screaming photographers on the Grammys red carpet

Taylor Swift is clearly in her ‘Midnight’ era – and arrived dressed as such on the red carpet at the 2023 Grammy Awards.

The singer would have responded to screaming requests from photographers yearning for perfect shots of Swift, who thankfully reassured them that she was in no rush – and that they would get their coveted shots in time.

“Thanks for calming us down,” a photographer replied.

Swift notably arrived having previously won “Music Video of the Year” for her 10-minute rendition of “All Too Well.” The singer, who directed the video herself, thanked the Recording Academy on Twitter.

While Swift’s “Red (Taylor’s Version)” – a re-recording of one of her most popular records – was notably unnominated, “All Too Well” is additionally nominated for Song of the Year and “Carolina,” another track from “Midnights,” is nominated for Best Song Written for Visual Media.

“I Bet You’re Thinking Of Me (Taylor Version) [From the Vault]” meanwhile, is up for Best Country Song against genre legends such as Willie Nelson and Miranda Lambert.

Reactions to Swift’s dress, however, were ultimately mixed.
