“It’s going to be a rough goodbye”

During a break from filming last year, he told Sky News: “It’s been such a big part of my life, this show and living here in Georgia (where the show has been filming since 2010), I’m going home to New York on my vacation.

“So I don’t know. I try not to think about it. I know it’s going to happen.”

The final season of The Walking Dead is now streaming on Disney+.
