US futures fall ahead of North American trading

After a to-and-fro start, stocks have drawn slightly more bids over the past half hour. US futures rose with S&P 500 futures now up 0.6% on the day near 4,000:

Nasdaq futures are up 0.4% and Dow futures are also up 0.6% right now. The more positive mood is also helping to see European indices posting modest gains on the session now:

  • Eurostoxx +0.7%
  • DAX Germany +0.6%
  • British FTSE apartment
  • France CAC 40 +0.8%

In FX, the dollar remains gloomy as it is seen slightly lower against the euro, the pound, the yen and the franc. The greenback trades little against the loonie, the Aussie and the kiwi. Meanwhile, Treasury yields also pared their earlier decline, with 10-year yields now flat on the session at 2.75%.
