A US Army soldier hopes to overcome obstacles to bring his pet back with him after his deployment.

When Spc. Kaiden arrived on overseas duty, he saw a cat watching everyone from the top of the pallets, but running away in fear if anyone approached her. One day, Spc. Kaiden decided to sit on the paddles to see how the cat named “Tiger” would react. From that moment on, the cat and the SPC. Kaiden formed a bond threatened by the possibility of being nearly 7,000 miles away.

“Spc. Kaiden has a strong connection to Tiger, and now he needs her to be sent safely home to America,” says Dereck Cartright, a disabled veteran who is the US logistics coordinator for the association. nonprofit Paws of War. “We want to do everything we can to help make this happen, but we need the public’s help to carry out the mission.”

Tiger has made a habit of sitting on Spc. Kaiden’s shoulders and always run towards him when he was there. She even became friendlier with others, losing her fear over time. She was fed and well cared for, and provided spc. Kaiden with company and something to look forward to every day.

Tiger will have to fend for herself if she is not sent back to the United States, where she can live her life in her forever home with Spc. Kaiden and his family.

CPS. Kaiden had heard of Paws of War helping other people on the ward move their pets after deployment, so he reached out to see if they could help him too.

“Tiger and I have become inseparable, and I can’t imagine leaving her behind when I live thousands of miles away,” said Spc. Kaiden. “I’m grateful that there is an organization like Paws of War that cares enough to help us in this type of situation. I’m also grateful that there are people in the community who support what they’re doing, so that they can carry out their mission. “
