Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez and Gennady Golovkin are set to complete their incredible trilogy later this year as Las Vegas hosts the huge fight.

The great foes fought off two thrilling clashes in 2017 and 2018, the first being ruled a draw before Canelo won the second.

Canelo and Golovkin will meet again in September

Their rivalry was one of the best in modern boxing, but fans had to wait for a third and final clash.

Now they will face off again under the lights of Sin City and it should be a thriller.

Canelo, who lost to Dmitry Bivol in his WBA light heavyweight title fight in May, will put his super middleweight titles on the line.

Golovkin has only fought four times since losing to the Mexican and beat Ryota Murata in Japan most recently.

Canelo vs Golovkin: What was said?

Canelo: “I’m risking everything to continue writing history when I have nothing to risk. I have already achieved so much. I’m in a position where I have nothing to risk, and I always do.

“Nobody does that when they’re in a position like I’m in.

“Tell me another fighter who tries this in other categories, going down and up in weight.

“It was always very personal with Gennady. It will never go away. After finishing both fights, we still feel [very personal).

“He has never stopped talking about me. If you see, I never mentioned his name.

“I’ve always been in his mouth, he’s always talked about me, and that makes it even more personal.

“The fact that there is this rivalry puts an extra element there. It makes me train harder. I try harder. Personally, I sometimes feel better that it exists.”
