Two inmates missing from Community Corrections Center-Omaha

Two inmates were reported missing from the Omaha Community Correctional Center on Thursday. In a news release, the Nebraska Department of Corrections said Clifford Brown and Matthew Hurich had left the facility and removed their electronic monitoring devices. These were found about a block away. Brown was convicted of possession of a controlled substance outside of Dawson County. Hurich was serving time for robbery and terrorist threats outside of Lancaster County. Anyone who knows where they might be is asked to call the Nebraska State Police or Patrol. CCC-O is the lowest holding level and the least restrictive facility.
