Tulsi Gabbard Says Of Attacks On Faith, God Driven Her To Quit Democrats

Democrats’ attacks on believers as well as their erasure of God ‘from nearly every facet of our public life’ is a key reason former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard says she chose to leave the Democratic Party , claiming that many of their decision-makers “think they [themselves] are God” as they attempt to “control us in every possible way.

Gabbard, who officially announcement his departure from the Democratic Party in October, joined Fox News’ Kayleigh McEnany, who served as former President Donald Trump’s press secretary, in lamenting how God was continually “worn out” in today’s society.

“It’s ironic to me that God, someone you can trust, is being kicked out of society,” McEnany said in Friday’s segment. “[And] we know that he was an integral part of our foundation, mentioned in several of our founding documents.

While the separation of church and state “is not found anywhere in our founding documents,” McEnany said, “it was used to create a religion of secularism.”

Speaking to Gabbard, McEnany asked if the former congresswoman thinks the “broadly erasing God from society in a way our founders perhaps never intended” was harmful. to the society.

The former presidential candidate replied: “There is no doubt about it”.

“This erosion of this spiritual foundation of our country is a direct result of those trying to erase God from almost every facet of our public life,” Gabbard said.

She also claimed that the erasure of God and attacks on religious practitioners were central to her decision to quit the Democratic Party.

“That’s one of the main reasons I chose to leave the Democratic Party: because I saw more and more how they not only tried to erase all mention of God, [but were] attack people of faith, attack people of spirituality, especially Christians,” Gabbard said.

She also argued that the aftermath of these attacks has driven much of the country in a direction that is causing damage “to families, to children, to our communities, [and] to our policy makers – many of whom think they are God and try to control us in every way possible.

The remarks come as the Democratic Party continues to be increasingly seen as hostile to God and religion.

MSNBC left-wing anchor Joy Ann Reid has alleged that Americans are being “held hostage” by a “far-right Christian court,” while she has attacked the Supreme Court for its various rulings that she says frequently rule “in favor of religious institutions.”

Meanwhile, Iowa’s only Democratic congresswoman, Cindy Axne mocked Christians at an out-of-state campaign event with a group of far-left activists.

Previously famous Christian pastor Franklin Graham denounced the complete absence of God from the Democratic National Convention, as he called on Americans to bring God back into public life.

Gabbard, who represented Hawaii’s second congressional district from 2013 to 2021, revealed last year that she was quitting the Democratic Party in a video posted to social media:

“I believe in government that is of the people, by and for the people,” she said. “Unfortunately, the Democratic Party today does not.”

“Instead, it represents a government of, by and for the powerful elite,” she added.

The former Democrat has long been a critic of the pro-war foreign policy establishment, as well as “reveilleism,” both of which are currently led by the Democratic Party.

She is currently in writing a memoir to be released later this year detailing his decision to leave the Democrats.
