‘Trump will be re-elected in a landslide victory’ if arrested

Former President Donald Trump will be re-elected in a “landslide victory” if he is handcuffed and arrested next week, Elon Musk, CEO of SpaceX, Tesla and Twitter predicted in a tweet posted on Saturday.

Musk’s tweet was in response to David Freiheit – also known as Viva Frei, who similarly felt an arrest of Trump would result in a boon of political support for the former president.

Freiheit responded to a Fox News report speculating about the possibility of Trump being handcuffed and the subsequent fingerprinting, processing and transfer to a courtroom for arraignment. He wrote: “If this happens, it will be the start of Trump’s re-election. »
Musk replied, “If that happens, Trump will be re-elected in a landslide victory”:

Earlier Saturday, Trump issued a statement expressing his hope of being arrested on Tuesday.

Former President Donald Trump said on Saturday he expected to be arrested on Tuesday based on “unlawful leaks” from the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office, which is investigating Trump’s alleged role in the money paid to Stormy Daniels. The former president also called on his supporters to protest in light of the news.

Trump released his statement via Truth Social. He predicted: “THE REPUBLICAN CANDIDATE AND FORMER PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, WILL BE ARRESTED ON TUESDAY NEXT WEEK. PROTEST, TAKE BACK OUR NATION!
