People like Mauricio Pochettino and Antonio Conte are linked again with the Old Trafford hotseat and, with the Manchester derby next weekend, Solskjaer is in desperate need of a result in North London, otherwise he could end up very soon jobless.
While his situation is obviously not as bad as Solskjaer’s, Nuno Espirito Santo has so far flattered to cheat at Tottenham and could also use a decent victory to calm down opponents.

Tottenham vs Man United team news
Tottenham remain without Ryan Sessegnon, while summer signing Bryan Gil was forced to retire early against Burnley and the club are assessing the injury.
Matt Doherty returned to the squad on match day in Lancashire but was an unused substitute.
Paul Pogba is suspended for United after his terrible red card challenge against Naby Keita last Sunday which saw the Liverpool midfielder stretch.
However, compatriot Raphael Varane is back in full training after a groin injury suffered on international duty, which should help mend Solskjaer’s leaky defense.
Anthony Martial could also return against Spurs.
Prediction Tottenham vs Man United
Although this is a figure that is perpetually under pressure, it is quite remarkable how quickly things have worked out at this point for Solskjaer and it seems like it is only a matter of time before ‘he is ultimately relieved of his duties, regardless of the results to come.
The growls of discontent in the dressing room won’t help his cause at all and the tactics against creeping Liverpool were terrible to put it mildly, with United’s half-hearted attempts to squeeze the ball alarmingly and completely lacking in cohesion.
It’s undoubtedly a series of tough matches for United, but a trip to face this side from Tottenham shouldn’t be seen as particularly intimidating.
The often pedestrian hosts are a difficult watch under Nuno and have to offer a lot more in attack if they are to take advantage of even shaken opponents this weekend.
We anticipate a low scoring draw which will do little to help either manager.
