Tomi Lahren accuses Democratic leaders of unemployment fraud that costs billions
| Local News | Today Headlines
Fox Nation host Tomi Lahren blasted California executives for reports that unemployment fraud in the state hit at least $ 20 billion Friday on “Final Thoughts.”
“You know, I’ve always said that the state of California pampers criminals and criminals, but this latest revelation takes that hugs, hugs and canoodling to a whole new and very expensive level,” she said.
Lahren went on to note that fraudulent payments accounted for over 11% of all benefits paid since the start of the pandemic.
The fraudulent payments, Lahren said, occurred when “the big government recklessly approves[d] huge extensions and extensions of unemployment benefits in a bid to offset economic lockdowns, closures, warrants and COVID offenses also hastily and foolishly put in place by… you guessed it… the big government. ”
California wasn’t the only state to experience unemployment fraud during the pandemic.
“This kind of bullshit didn’t just happen in California,” Lahren said. “Across the country, at least $ 87 billion in fraudulent payments have been approved by states.”
In Arizona, she said, crooks “were able to recover at least 30% of the state’s total unemployment benefits.”
Democrats don’t seem to see this as a problem, Lahren said.
“Democrats don’t care. If they accidentally allocate more of your hard-earned taxes to illegals, criminals and illegal criminals, it’s not the skin of their skin.”
“In fact, they are experts at mismanaging our money,” she continued. “Look no further than the infrastructure and reconciliation bills which carry not only huge prices but also BS expenses such as $ 300 billion to fund ‘environmental justice’.”
Lahren blamed the fraud at the feet of Democratic leaders like Gavin Newsom and Joe Biden.

“The state is a garbage can fire and thanks to Biden’s voters, so is the nation.”
“The government has a blank check and we have little more than a president with dementia and empty store shelves,” she concluded. “But at least the tweets are nicer. What a compromise.”
