Sen. Tom Cotton, R-Ark., told “America Reports” on Friday that President Biden ostracizing Saudi Arabia has created the “worst of both worlds.” Cotton said the Biden administration needed help from Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman after he called it a “pariah state”.

MORE ‘PARIAH’ STATE AS BIDEN SEEK HELP FROM SAUDI AS GAS PRICES SOAR

TOM COTTON: It also kind of creates the worst of both worlds. Joe Biden should never have Saudi Arabia ostracized and Mohammed bin Salman. This country has been our partner for 80 years, and a dozen presidents dating back to Franklin Delano Roosevelt have found a way to work with their leaders to help keep the American people safe and prosperous. This is what Joe Biden Should have done it from the start. But by going that route, calling it a pariah state and saying he won’t meet the crown prince, the de facto day-to-day ruler of Saudi Arabia, he’s probably only antagonizing the Saudis further, then he always turns around and meets them when he is there. He should just say, as a dozen presidents have said for 80 years, that Saudi Arabia is an important partner of the United States. It is an important force for stability with our other friends to include Israel in a region where Iran threatens us all and tries to work with them to defend the interests of the American people.
