Seven-time Super Bowl winner Tom Brady attended the US Open tennis championships in Queens, New York on Friday.
No. 2-ranked Novak Djokovic won his semifinal against Atlanta native Ben Shelton. After the match, Brady meets Djokovic.
The US Open shared a photo on social media of Brady with his three children greeting Djokovic after securing a spot at Sunday’s US Open. Djokovic is a three-time US Open winner and the upcoming match will mark his tenth appearance in the tournament final.

Brady and company then headed to the stands at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center and watched as Daniil Medvedev upset Carlos Alcaraz. Medvedev will now face Djokovic in the final.
Brady was present in June when Djokovic won the French Open trophy by beating Casper Ruud in Paris.

During Friday’s exchange in New York, Brady took a moment to introduce Djokovic to his children.
At one point during the interaction, Djokovic was heard asking Brady: “Are you holding up okay?”
The NFL legend responded by saying, “Everything is fine. Everything is fine.”
Brady then said he hoped he could make up for Djokovic’s victory.
“I would have liked to see you play tonight,” Brady noted. “But they had a school in Miami. So we had to let them finish, and then we flew out. I was hoping you’d get the night’s game.”

After his round of 16 victory, Djokovic opened up about his friendship with Brady.
“Tom Brady being in my box for the Roland Garros final and sitting next to my wife was a huge honor,” he said.
“I’ve had a relationship with Tom for several years. We go back and forth. I have tremendous respect for him. His longevity, I feel like his approach to healing, is something that I think , is a subject that interests us both.”
Djokovic also won the Australian Open earlier this year.
