Tuesday, May 24, while fuel prices are still high, they are often higher than 2 euros in motorway service areas. So how to pay less when traveling?

Tuesday, May 24, the price of a liter of fuel often rises above two euros on the highways. On the A10 motorway, a rest area displays gasoline at 2.01 euros and diesel at 2 euros. But, at a supermarket gas station, located just five kilometers from the highway, prices are already cheaper. Gasoline is 8 cents less than on the highway and diesel 23 cents less per litre. This represents 11.60 euros in savings for a full 50 litres.

“On the highway, it’s true that these are exorbitant prices”notes a driver. “I avoid stations on the highway”, adds a motorist. Before making a detour, however, it is necessary to take into account the difference in price for entering and leaving the motorway. On a second rest area, fuels are displayed at more than 2 euros per liter. To spend less, some compare on the Internet to find the most affordable stations.
