Three people dead, one seriously injured in Custer County shooting over property lines

Three people are dead and another was seriously injured after a shooting Monday afternoon in Custer County following a property dispute.
At approximately 2:30 Monday afternoon, Custer County law enforcement issued a lockdown order for the area of Rocky Ridge Road in the northern part of Custer County, northeast of Westcliffe.
Multiple agencies, including the Custer, Pueblo and Fremont county sheriff’s offices and the Colorado State Patrol, responded to the scene for what law enforcement described as a “high risk” situation. .
Hours later, authorities confirmed that a suspect fled the scene and two men and a woman were found dead. Another person, a woman, was flown to Colorado Springs and then Denver with “multiple” gunshot wounds to the chest.
As of Monday evening, the suspect had still not been found, but authorities were confident they knew the man’s whereabouts and were working to take him into custody.
The suspect’s name is Hanme Clark, 45 years old. He is believed to be driving a white Dodge truck, registration BHLK27. The suspect and at least one of the victims were known to have previously participated in civil disputes over property lines and easements.
