Metropolitan Police said Ahmed Bana, 25, Nurul Amin, 24, and Dante Campbell, 20, have been charged over the incident in Leyton, east London.

All three are due to appear in Thames Magistrates’ Court later.

Scotland Yard said the three suspects, from north London, have been charged with conspiracy to commit robbery.

Bana and Campbell were also charged with possession of an imitation firearm.

Campbell was also charged with possession of an imitation firearm with intent to fear violence and possession of ammunition for an unlicensed firearm.

Khan tweeted about the incident on Easter Monday.

He said at the time: ‘I have just had my watch taken away at gunpoint in east London, Leyton.

“I crossed the road with Faryal, luckily she was a few steps behind me.

“Two men ran up to me, he asked for my watch while having a gun pointed at my face.

“The main thing is that we are both safe.”

The recently retired fighter then posted an image of his watch and the serial number in a bid to retrieve the item, while his partner uploaded footage of the incident.
