this video taken in a TER goes viral

Gastronomy is definitely the prerogative of the French. And it is not the video broadcast on social networks which will contradict this widely held idea. In the document shared on Twitter, we can indeed see the Parisian chef, Julien Gaulet, preparing a foie gras sandwich, using his Vitale card… as a knife. Very quickly, the images went around the web.

It was while he was traveling in a TER in the Burgundy region that Basile Viault, who presents himself as an employee of an advertising agency in Paris, captured the scene. In the filmed images, we see Julien Gaulet slicing a foie gras using his Vitale card.
“There’s nothing more French than that”
Enough to provoke amused reactions on social networks. Under the publications, more than 400 comments were submitted. “Always have faith in your vital card”, “All you need is a glass of wine and you have the competition”, “There’s nothing more French than that”, we can read for example. Other Internet users nevertheless questioned the quality of the foie gras which, according to them, crumbles like parmesan.
This is not the first time that Julien Gaulet has caused such buzz. Already in 2021, he caused a sensation by tasting a dish of truffle pasta accompanied by a glass of red wine on a TGV. A quality meal, the polar opposite of those offered for sale in bar cars and in stations.
