These lightweight travel pants are on sale at Nordstrom

Since the vast landscape of online shopping can overwhelm even the most decisive consumers, many of us can relate to the following habit: last for years to come.

When we come across online chatter that indicates shoppers have discovered such an item, we’re compelled to investigate – and that’s exactly what happened when we landed on these chic, lightweight linen pants that are currently on sale for up to 40% off as part of Nordstrom’s semi-annual sale.

The linen-blend pants come in three colorways, and two of the coolest (in our humble opinion) are on sale: classic black and olive. The pants feature a smocked elastic waistband and a wide, flowing leg with a 28-inch inseam that one reviewer (who named FranktheCat and listed his height at 5′ 8″) said “hit over the top. the ankle for a short fit.” Other reviewers at shorter heights found them to hang longer.

Reviewers also found the airy linen-viscose construction to be breathable and lightweight, and several admitted to owning up to three pairs of pants. “If you’re pear-shaped, these are your palazzo pants. And they look cool. I’m usually an 8-10 (ML) at the bottom, but a size small at the top and often have to take pants and shorts to size, in order to buy a size that fits my bottom. But not these – they are perfect! I bought a size M and they aren’t huge in the waist and there was plenty of room for my hips/buttocks/thighs. Very comfortable and the fabric is a decent weight.
