Less than a week before the first round of the presidential election, the candidate of the Résistons! movement, Jean Lassalle, was the guest of Europe Matin on Monday. Known for his outspokenness, the deputy of Pyrénées-Atlantiques did not hesitate to affirm that there is a “dictatorship” in France.
Candidate for the second time in the presidential election, Jean Lassalle speaks loudly. For the candidate of the Résistons party, “the resistance shows the way forward” and is necessary “in the face of the dictatorship which has imposed itself on us and which kills ruthlessly in silence”. The deputy of Pyrénées-Atlantiques owes his notoriety to a few “coups”: in 2013, he embarked on a tour of France to meet his fellow citizens, this year, it is in a bus bearing his effigy that he embarked on its second race at the Élysée, criss-crossing the country.
Jean Lassalle is also known for his thirty-nine day hunger strike against the relocation of a chemical factory from the Aspe valley. One thing is certain, the candidate does not have his tongue in his pocket.
