The White House asked Twitter to remove Chrissy Teigen’s post calling Trump “P***y Ass B***h”

Chrissy Teigen was actually on hand.
Donald Trump, then Presidentthe White House apparently asked Twitter to take down a tweet from 2019 in which the model called Trump an “ass bitch” — which, to be fair, is a nice ass kick from the Trump administration.
The revelation emerged during a House Oversight Committee hearing on Wednesday regarding Twitter’s alleged leftist bias in censoring posts about Hunter Biden’s laptop story..
The hearing took a strange turn when Democrats asked Anika Collier Navaroli, a former Twitter employee who helped shape the social network’s policies, about the incident to underscore Republicans’ hypocrisy.
“The White House contacted Twitter almost immediately afterwards to demand that the tweet be taken down. Is it correct ? Rep. Gerry Connolly (D-Va.), Navaroli asked in a video shared on Twitter.
“I remember hearing that we got a request from the White House to make sure we evaluate this tweet, and they wanted it published because it was a derogatory statement. addressed to the president,” Navaroli said.
“They wanted it to fall?” Connolly asked. “They made this request?”
“If I remember correctly, yes,” Navaroli said.
“I thought it was an inappropriate action on the part of a government official,” Connolly continued. “Not to mention the White House. But it wasn’t Joe Biden about his son’s laptop. It was Donald Trump because he didn’t like what Chrissy Teigen had to say about him.
Navaroli also read Teigen’s tweet verbatim in the filing.
What, apparently, Teigen also saw:
The Washington Post reported that Twitter officials assessed Teigen’s tweet and allowed it to remain on the platform because Twitter’s policy regarding slurs is that “up to 3 slurs are allowed” in no. any tweet.
So here’s Teigen’s 2019 tweet, which remains on the platform to this day, in all its glory:
Teigen’s colorful description of the former president is the result of Trump posting a series of tweets in September 2019 in which he called out Teigen’s husband, musician John Legend, “boring“and called Teigen”his dirty mouth wife.”
Trump tagged Legend in his post, but didn’t tag Teigen — but she clearly heard about his remarks nonetheless.
