The Note: Tyrone Corbin on the jazz legacy of Carlos Boozer

Game 7 of the West’s 2007 first round is one hell of a rewatch. Seriously.

The series went back and forth – neither team had won on the other’s court. In a do-or-die game featuring Yao Ming, Tracy McGrady and Deron Williams, Carlos Boozer stood out with a performance of 35 points, 15 rebounds and 5 assists. He scored 10 in the final quarter to help put Utah over the top 103-99.

Next came a 5-game series against the “We Believe” Golden State Warriors, before finally falling to champion San Antonio Spurs.

To relive the team’s journey to the West Final and Carlos Boozer’s jazz career, UtahJazz.comJP Chunga spoke with former NBA coach Tyrone Corbin.
