Sami Zayn managed to steal the show on the second night of WrestleMania and possibly all weekend losing to Johnny Knoxville and the cast of Jackass.
Presented as a no-holds-barred match, Zayn and Knoxville were able to get creative in the ring and the Hollywood star brought to the table more silly antics than WrestleMania has ever seen before.
Knoxville grabbed the W
Knoxville, 51, had his first ever professional wrestling match on the biggest stage and the actor got off to a rocky start as Zayn hit his finisher, the Helluva Kick, within seconds.
Zayn was in a confident mood as he strutted to ringside beating Knoxville in front of his friends including Jeff Tremaine.
During the match, Zayn would be subjected to a ridiculous amount of punishment.
First Knoxville knocked him out with a fire extinguisher, he deafened him with an airhorn, and then Party Boy Chris Pontius entered the fray.
Things got violent in the most entertaining way
In textbook fashion, Pontius danced up to Zayn and gradually undressed before Zayn put him down on the mat.
As The Great Liberator rolled Pontius under the ring, Wee-Man Jason Acuna emerged and began unleashing a barrage of strikes on the Canadian.
When they entered the ring, Wee-Man was able to bodyslam Zayn with a huge ovation.
Wee Man did the unthinkable!
Zayn would suffer even more ignominy when fireworks went off while he was on the top rope, he was hit in the groin by a plastic leg and he was placed across a table covered in mouse traps.
To seal the deal, Knoxville landed a DDT tornado on Zayn, then placed him in a mousetrap that stopped Zayn from kicking as the Jackass star took the overall victory.
Bad Bunny and Logan Paul proving to be among the best celebrity releases of all time very fresh in memory, Knoxville staked his own case with a unique and entertaining performance. The AT&T Stadium crowd loved the game from start to finish.
Zayn had no escape
