This complaint arises after the discovery, on the sidelines of a demonstration against the sanitary pass on September 5, offensive and threatening tags (“FDP”, “collabo”, “Crémieux clears”) aimed at the foot of the Marseille building where lives a namesake.
Appointed in June at the head of the AP-HM, François Crémieux is notably known for his opposition to the director of the IHU Méditerranée Didier Raoult, to whom he refused a combination of employment and retirement from last August 31, which could put an official end to the hospital-university career of the media infectious disease specialist (the board of directors of the IHU has yet to meet on this subject).
We have been receiving death threats every day for months
Following the tags and insults targeting him on September 5, François Crémieux received support from the Hospital Federation of France, which wrote on Twitter that “faced with the rise in anti-vaccine and anti-health pass violence, the unwavering state support for hospitals and their managers has become vital ”.

The Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur regional health agency also expressed in a press release its support “for establishments and all health professionals faced with the rise in anti-vaccine and anti-health pass violence”.
On September 7, a group of renowned doctors and scientists had also denounced the insults and threats they have received since the start of the pandemic, accusing justice and the political world of passivity: “We have been receiving death threats for months. every day, ”said Jérôme Marty, doctor and president of the UFMLS professional union, during a press conference. There were among the other professionals present, the doctors Karine Lacombe, François Morel and Damien Barraud or the scientific popularizer Thomas Durand.
