The cast of ‘Modern Family’ reunited at Sofia Vergara’s home with all but one of the actors

On November 15, Sofia Vergara shared photos on Instagram of a “family reunion” she hosted at her home.
Vergara’s first post began with a photo of almost the entire cast — including Ed O’Neill, Julie Bowen, Eric Stonestreet, Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Ariel Winter — smiling in front of a fireplace.
Only Ty Burrell was lacking, but his TV family made up for it by having Winter pose with a framed photo of him.
Younger actors Rico Rodriguez, Nolan Gould and Aubrey Anderson-Emmons also joined the fun, as did Ferguson’s husband Justin Mikita, Stonestreet’s fiancée Lindsay Schweitzer and series co-creators Steven Levitan and Christopher Lloyd.
Vergara included other party photos in the collection, including one of her and Ferguson sharing laughs with Mikata and Hyland.
The “America’s Got Talent” judge posted an unrelated photo of her and her TV husband, O’Neill, cuddling sweetly on a couch. “I love you Ed O’neil (sic),” she wrote, adding three heart emoji.
Another follow-up post featured photos of Vergara and Ferguson laughing in front of the fireplace flames, as well as other images of the actors and their loved ones chatting as they sat around a coffee table adorned with books.
The show’s stars, many of whom have shared photos of impromptu mini-reunions over the years, paid tribute to Burrell in a hilarious video.
“We miss you, Ty!” several of them are seen yelling at the photo of Burrell on the fireplace mantle.
“I love you dad!” Hyland said.
On November 16, Vergara shared another gallery of party photos featuring a group selfie.
“So lucky to have worked with these people for 11 years. Love and miss you all!!!” Vergara gushed in her caption.
“Thanks for having Sofia!!!! I love you,” Ferguson responded in the comments.
“I love you Sofia!” Rodriguez added.
“Modern Family” aired for 11 seasons from 2009 to 2020 on ABC. The series has won 22 Emmy Awards, including five wins for Outstanding Comedy Series.
