Houston Texans security Justin Reid was “shocked” to learn he would be a good scratch in Sunday’s game against the New York Jets, a clash that ended in Houston’s ninth loss this season.

Pre-game reports indicated Reid would be a good scratch for breaking team rules, but the third-year starter said FOX26 Houston that he was told it was a “disagreement” at a team meeting earlier in the week.

Culley declined to give details on the bench after the game, calling it a “disciplinary” decision.

Quarterback Tyrod Taylor echoed that sentiment when asked during his post-game press conference.
