Snoop Dogg announced on social media that he was giving up his most famous vice.
“I’m quitting smoking,” Snoop Dogg wrote on X and Instagram. “After careful consideration and conversation with my family, I have decided to quit smoking. Please respect my privacy at this time.
No reason was given for the abrupt decision, nor was it made clear whether the reputed cannabis lover was just smoking cannabis.
Some have speculated that Snoop, 52, might switch to cannabis edibles to preserve his lungs.
Snoop and cannabis have long been linked throughout his career, beginning with his appearances on Dr. Dre’s 1992 album, “The Chronic.”
