In Orléans (Loiret), tank trucks have resumed deliveries to service stations.
No break for tanker truck drivers in Saint-Jean-de-Braye (Loiret). From the first hour, they follow one another to fill their tank with fuel. 38,000 liters which they will then distribute to service stations. With the shortage of fuel, rounds are increasing for some drivers. “I did a first lap in the morning, and depending on the circumstances we will load a second lap to deliver it then. It will take me 500 to 600 kilometers”says a driver.
The days start early in the morning and can end late: up to twelve hours of work a day to compensate for the shortage. These deliveries are particularly expected. At each stop, drivers encounter motorists looking for fuel. The situation could last: one in three service stations is still short of fuel throughout the country.
