Samantha Bee, a left-leaning commentator who previously worked for Jon Stewart’s “The Daily Show,” encouraged her viewers to “raise the hell up” in response to the Supreme Court’s overturning of Roe v. Wade.

“I can’t describe how painful it is to be here now, in a place where the Supreme Court has the power to erase 50 years of constitutional law. Don’t get me wrong, that’s not where it is. stops,” warned Bee.

“The Tories won’t rest until they come for our full rights. Everything we fought for could be lost if we don’t take it back,” she said.

“It’s not just about voting in November, it’s about doing everything in our power to protect and help vulnerable people access abortion across state lines. And we We have to raise hell! In our cities, in Washington, in all the restaurants where Judge Alito eats for the rest of his life. Because if the Republicans made our lives hell, it’s time to pay them back .

Across America, leftist groups catholic churches burnt down and vandalized in response to the Court’s ruling, and churches were tagged with threats such as “If abortion isn’t safe, neither are you”, “women who hate” and “hate religion”. The White House has condemned these attacks.

Last month, a suspected killer threatened to kill Judge Brett Kavanaugh outside his home. The man was arrested by police and was carrying a gun, ammunition, knife, pepper spray, screwdriver, zip ties and other weapons.

Bee’s encouragement to “bring the hell up” echoes longstanding calls from other Democrats for their supporters to address grievances on “the streets.”

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez, DN.Y., for example, called the court’s decision “illegitimate” and chanted at a protest that people should take their grievances “to the streets”.

In 2018, Rep. Maxine Waters, D-California, called on her supporters to harassing Trump officials.

“They won’t be able to go to a restaurant, they won’t be able to stop at a gas station, they won’t be able to shop at a department store,” Waters said. “People are going to turn on them, they’re going to protest, they’re going to absolutely harass them.”

Similarly, in March 2020, Sen. Chuck Schumer, DN.Y., was criticized for telling Justices Kavanaugh and Gorsuch that they “will pay the price.”

The Court has recently come under unprecedented political attack, with someone inside the Court disclose the draft majority opinion on Roe in May.

The New York Post Editorial Board Noted in May, “Bad enough for judges and their families to face screaming lunatics besieging their homes; releasing this information invites actual violence. Guess ‘doxxing’ is okay when progressives do it.”

“This assault on the Supremes represents an enormous scale-up of the attack on American institutions.”
