A large group of rioters were seen in downtown Portland, Oregon, smashing windows and vandalizing several buildings Saturday night. The group also tagged several posts targeting the United States Supreme Court.
The group, made up of around 100 people, shouted and chanted as they marched through the streets when they periodically stopped to destroy and tag items.
“Death to SCOTUS,” read a spray-painted black message.
Members of the group smashed several windows of a Starbucks Coffee building and others were seen destroying a Tesla car.

The black vehicle was left with red spray paint and at least two broken windows.
“Abolish the schools,” read another graffiti message painted on a Portland Scholastic League vehicle. “ACAB,” said another, a reference to anti-police sentiments.
Another message the band spray painted on a storage box appears to read, “Give up the court.”

A pedestrian who shouted at the group to ask why he was committing his acts of violence was threatened.
As the night wore on, a small group of individuals broke away from the larger crowd, no longer wishing to be part of their violent actions.
After several hours, the group dispersed.
The group’s destructive frenzy comes a day after a Supreme Court majority voted to overturn Roe v. Wade, who recognized the right of women to have an abortion.

It was also the second night of violence in the city after protesters gathered on Friday night.
The incidents in Portland came amid numerous other – mostly peaceful – protests and acts of violence that erupted in cities across the country.
