Republicans accuse Biden administration of using Defense Department to push ‘woke trash’ after Fox News Digital reported series of derogatory tweets about white people by chief diversity, equity officer and Inclusion (DEI) of the education wing of the department.

Kelisa Wing is the Chief DEI at the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA), which provides K-12 education to the DoD community in the United States and around the world. After Fox News Digital asked for comment on Tuesday’s story, Wing’s Twitter was taken to private, but she did not respond.

She wrote in June 2020, “I’m exhausted with these white foxes in these [professional development] sessions.”

“[T]his lady actually had the audacity to say black people can be racist too… I had to stop the session and give Karen the BUSINESS… [W]We are not in the majority, we have no power,” she continued.

DEFENSE EQUITY DEPARTMENT HEAD ‘WOKE’ WRITES ANTI-WHITE POSTS: ‘EXHAUSTED BY THESE WHITE FOLX’

“Caudacity” is a slang term that is used to describe the audacity displayed by white people.

“[B]Being anti-racist means being active against racism…you’ll NEVER get there…stop centering this on whiteness,” Wing said.

DoDEA did not respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment on Tuesday’s story.

“Kelisa Wing is ‘exhausted’ with white people, but Americans are exhausted by this administration’s continued use of the Department of Defense for its woke garbage,” Rep. Ronny Jackson, R-Texas, said in a statement to Fox News Digital. “This includes using our tax dollars to hire people who hate the millions of Americans they are meant to serve and empowering them to indoctrinate our children with their divisive racist message.”

“Kelisa Wing is an embarrassment to the Department and a stain on this country,” he said. “She clearly has no business being in government.”

“If President Biden wants to know why he has a recruiting problem and low morale, he need look no further,” Sen. Tom Cotton, R-Ark., told Fox News Digital. “Our troops want to fight and win America’s wars, not be lab rats for the left’s woke racist fantasies.”

“I can’t stress how destructive these types of appointments are to our military,” added Rep. Michael Waltz, R-Fla. “The focus on race is stirring division among our troops and politicizing one of America’s most trusted institutions. I can also tell you that the enemy doesn’t care about our skin color and the Pentagon should focus on the standards necessary to win wars. Once we regain the House, we absolutely must investigate Biden’s divisive agendas at the DOD as well as the CRT indoctrination at our military academies.”

“When I was on the battlefield, the only thing I needed to know about the soldiers on my left and on my right was that they were the best person for the job and they were going to do whatever who was in their power to accomplish our mission and bring us home safely,” said Rep. Brian Mast, R-Fla. “As a soldier, your race, religion, sexual orientation, and status socio-economic don’t matter – all that matters is the uniform you wear and the flag embroidered on your arm. You are part of the same team. I don’t know how Ms. Wing achieved the rank of Staff Sergeant without learning that lesson, but I can tell you that her comments are the complete opposite of anything our military is about.”

Rep. Brian Mast, R-Fla., told Fox News Digital that Kelisa Wing "comments are the exact opposite of everything our army is."

Fox News Digital reached out to the Department of Defense for the story on Tuesday, asking if Wing’s statements about white people were appropriate for a DoD employee involved in diversity, equity and inclusion, but did not. not received a response.

On another occasion, Wing responded to a user who said, “I’m exhausted by 99% white males in education and 95% white females. Where can I take a break from the white nonsense for a moment ?”

Wing replied, “If another Karen tells me about her feelings…I might lose my mind…”

In another post, Wing responded to a user who criticized the DoD Chief of Diversity’s article requiring all teachers to participate in the “dismantling of racial oppression” and claimed that “racism is ingrained in the very fabric of our country”.

“Goodbye Karen,” Wing replied to the user.

Wing also called former President Trump a “whole boy version of a Karen” and former Education Secretary Betsy DeVos “the queen of the Karens.”

DoDEA “directs…education programs for school-aged children of Department of Defense personnel” and “provides support and resources to local educational agencies throughout the United States that serve children of families of military”. DoDEA schools are located in the United States, Europe, the Pacific, West Asia, the Middle East, Cuba, Guam, and Puerto Rico.

Wing — who oversees the program at DoDEA, according to a press release — also co-created children’s books that said white people should confess their privilege and de facto hurt black people by being the benefactors of unearned benefits.

“White privilege hurts a lot of people. If you’re white, you might feel bad about hurting others or you might be afraid of losing that privilege,” the book “What Is White Privilege?” said.

He said that “overcoming white privilege is a job that must begin with the white community.”

“[W]Do you really feel good at the end of the race when you look back and see others fighting obstacles you didn’t even have?” the book adds.
