Reporter Gets Cute Response From Beyoncé’s Mom After Sneaking Song Titles In Traffic Update

A Philadelphia reporter who added some flair to a circulation report by peppering it with references to Beyoncé has garnered plenty of attention, including from the pop star’s mother.

Watko kept the song allusions at a brisk pace and managed to get 15 in the sub-two minute segment, which she pulled off without a script or a teleprompter.

While the traffic report won Watko plenty of new fans online, probably none were as exciting as Beyoncé’s own mother, Tina Knowles. Knowles posted a clip of the segment on Instagram, writing that it was “Soo cool!”

Watko responded enthusiastically Friday on Twitter.

“I will NEVER get over Ms. Tina posting my Beyoncé traffic report on her IG yesterday,” adding an emoji that she said depicted “me passing out.”
