Former ‘Real Housewives of Orange County’ star Braunwyn Windham-Burke spoke to Fox News Digital about his status with husband, Sean Burke, and life with girlfriend Victoria Brito. Windham-Burke also shared a milestone in her relationship: She and Victoria Brito are now living together part-time on the East Coast.
“Shawn and I are friends. We’re family and we’re relatives,” she said. “We’re figuring that out as we go. You know, there aren’t a lot of couples that I’ve seen do this before, so we’re kind of trying to figure it out. Right now we’re really focusing on keeping as much stability as possible for the children.”
Windham-Burke announced her split from her husband in the summer of 2021, and since then both parties have started seeing other people. The “RHOC” star revealed to Fox News Digital that she splits her time between New York City – where she lives with Brito – and Orange County, where much of her family still lives.
“So we do something called nesting, where we take turns going in and out of the house,” she said of her and Burke. “I was sick. In fact, he came here with me to help him.”

“So, you know, we’re really friends, we’re really family, and we’re just trying to do what’s best,” she continued. “I haven’t been able to take care of the kids for the past few days. I didn’t want to make them sick. So, you know, he’s here. It’s just that it works for us.”

She said she started texting Brito about two weeks before their first date in the Big Apple.
“It was like the perfect New York date,” she said. “We met in Dumbo at Jane’s Carousel, walked across the Brooklyn Bridge to the Van Gogh exhibit. We just had the best first date that lasted seven days.”
Windham-Burke shared that each of her children took to their new relationship differently, and her eldest, Bella, struggled to accept that her parents’ relationship had changed.

“I’ve always been very conscious of treating each of my children as individuals. As Rowan, my second daughter, says to herself, ‘Oh my God, I love Vic, let’s go out together.’ Bella said to me, ” You know what, mom? I’m not quite ready to meet her” and I have to respect that,” she said. “I respect that. So every kid is different, and I think we have a lot of kids like us. It’s really important to meet every one of their needs during such a time of change.”
The mother of seven has been a huge advocate for the LGBTQ+ community and shared that she is the Orange County Pride Grand Marshal and will be celebrating this Saturday.
“I love the idea that representation in mainstream media is becoming more and more visible,” she said of the LGBTQ+ community. “What I think a lot of people don’t understand is that yeah, it’s a big party. There’s a lot of rainbows, there’s a lot of glitter, but the pride is at originally a protest.”
She shared that she and her mom will be celebrating in Orange County and then hoping on a red-eye flight to celebrate New York Pride on the GLAAD and NFL Super Bowl float.
