Rbi extends Pralay Mondal’s tenure as Managing Director and Acting Managing Director of Csb Bank for three months

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on Wednesday approved the extension of the term of Acting Deputy Managing Director Pralay Mondal

Managing Director and CEO of CSB Bank for an additional three months.

“We wish to inform you that the Reserve Bank of India has today conveyed its approval for the extension of the tenure of Mr. Pralay Mondal, Deputy Managing Director as Acting Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Bank, for a new three-month period with effect from July 1, 2022, or until the appointment of a regular managing director and chief executive within the bank, whichever comes first, the bank said in a stock market filing. .

The RBI had initially approved Mondal’s appointment as interim Managing Director and CEO for a period of three months until June 30, 2022.

Mondal previously worked with HDFC Bank and Yes Bank before joining Axis Bank in April 2019 following the appointment of Amitabh Chaudhry as head of the bank.
