This is the first notebook of the season! At 8 a.m. this morning, Médiamétrie published the first radio audiences which allow us to judge the back-to-school schedules for each of the stations with many changes on the side of France Inter, RTL and even Europe 1!
First observation: France Inter continues to do well, even very well, and remains the leading radio station in France and the gap with RTL continues to decline. The gap is therefore widening between the two stations.
Second observation, things are moving on the side of Europe 1, since the station has stopped its fall and is even on the rise, driven, in particular by Pascal Praud and his arrival on Europe 1 which attracts new listeners.
Third observation is the red alert for France Bleu. The public service station which must play the proximity card is losing its footing and finds itself at rock bottom!
Fourth observation, more generally, the radio medium is not doing well, and fewer and fewer people are listening to the radio and the fall seems regular and continuous.
Finally, on the musical side, NRJ remains the leader but weak and stable compared to a year ago. For the rest, there is no real fundamental movement, except perhaps for Skyrock, which is showing a notable increase.
Finally, note that Nostalgia continues to increase, taking advantage of the aging of radio listeners
