Police chase ends in Mobile after driver crashes into fence

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – A suspect is in jail after allegedly leading mobile police in a pursuit on Wednesday night. No one was hurt but this chase ended up in someone’s backyard.

Our cameras captured the aftermath on Arlington Street where this car crashed into a fence.

Lamarcus Bonner, 37, was arrested and charged with reckless endangerment, attempted escape and possession of marijuana.

This call came in just after 6 p.m. In the FOX10 video, you can also see a huge hole in a fence where this car crashed through.

FOX 10 News spoke to a few surprised homeowners who live a short walk away. They told us they hadn’t seen or heard anything.

It wasn’t until 30 minutes later that this vehicle was pulled from the yard with grass and leaves stuck in the front bumper.

It would later be towed away before MPD cleared the scene.
