Public sector lender Punjab National Bank (PNB) announced on Friday that it has opened its international banking unit at GIFT City in Gujarat.
The IFSC banking unit of PNB in GIFT City, Gandhinagar was inaugurated by Managing Director and CEO Atul Kumar Goel, the bank said.

The branch will serve the needs of customers outside the jurisdiction of the national economy, dealing with flows of cross-border funding, financial products and services, PNB said.
Goel said this branch will help expand the options available to the bank’s customers to conduct international business transactions seamlessly.
