More footage emerges showing Ukrainians struggling to survive in hard-hit areas such as Bucha as the Russian invasion enters its 41st day.
In a photo taken by The Associated Press, residents who escaped suspected Russian atrocities gather around a van in the hope of securing humanitarian aid.
Elsewhere in Bucha on the same day, a Ukrainian soldier was photographed closing a body bag containing one of four civilians found inside a charred vehicle.

The devastation and grief has also been documented in other parts of Ukraine, with images showing a resident walking through the rubble of a building in Borodyanka and another photo showing the family of a slain Ukrainian soldier standing near from his coffin in Kramatorsk.
This soldier, Anatoly German, leaves behind his wife, a 9-year-old daughter and a 3-year-old son.

On Wednesday, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said peace talks via video link were underway but there was “quite a long way to go”.
“The work process is continuing but it’s going much harder than we would like,” Peskov said, according to The Associated Press. “Of course we would like to see more dynamism from the Ukrainian side, but the process has not been interrupted and is continuing.”
