Philadelphia woman with concealed license shoots attacker on New Years Day

A woman in Philadelphia with a concealed carry permit shot and injured a suspected attacker around 1 a.m. on New Year’s Day.

CBS News reports that the woman shot the man “on Tackawanna Street near Torresdale Avenue” when he allegedly assaulted her.

The man underwent surgery after being shot and is hospitalized in stable condition.

FOX 29 notes that the alleged attacker was a 30-year-old man and the attack was domestic in nature.

Breitbart News observes that there have been more than 500 Philadelphia killings of Mayor Jim Kenney (D) in 2022.

Moreover, the Daily Pennsylvanian points out that Kenny’s Philadelphia surpassed 1,000 carjackings for the year as of the end of September.

On April 1, 2022, Breitbart News reported that applications for concealed carry permits for Philadelphia increased 600% as law-abiding residents responded to the city’s violent crime by arming themselves.
