The Clippers have suffered another blow as they will be without star forward Paul George for the foreseeable future.
At Christmas, the team announced that George had suffered an elbow injury which will be reassessed in three to four weeks. George missed five games with an elbow injury earlier this month and will now be running out of time after playing two games.

This season, George is averaging 24.7 points, 7.1 rebounds and 5.5 assists for the Clippers, who are 14-12 when he dresses.

What is Paul George’s injury?
According to the Clippers, George suffered an ulnar collateral ligament (UCL) tear in his right elbow.
According to AthleticGeorge’s problems with his right elbow date back to the 2018 offseason.
How long will Paul George be away?
The Clippers’ statement says George will be re-evaluated in 3-4 weeks, meaning he will be sidelined for at least the next three weeks of action. Injury analyst Jeff Stotts reports that in the NBA, UCL sprains typically held players back for around 28 days or 13 action games.
George was already out for two weeks in December, but it’s unclear whether his return to action made the injury worse.
LA is expected to speak 15 times over the next four weeks.
