Patrick Vieira’s Crystal Palace face a nightmarish start to the 2022/23 season with Arsenal, Liverpool and Man City in the first month
Patrick Vieira will have his work cut out at the start of the new Premier League season.
The French manager enjoyed a strong first season at Selhurst Park, finishing 12th, with notable scalps which included Manchester United, Man City and Tottenham.

He also led Palace to the FA Cup semi-final, losing to Chelsea at Wembley.
The second season is always difficult, and the legendary Arsenal midfielder has not been done a favor by the programmers.
Palace kick off the new Premier League season on Friday August 5 as Vieira take on his former side the Gunners at Selhurst Park.
The Eagles have no time to settle into the new campaign as they next travel to Anfield to take on Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool in Gameweek 2.
Their most winable match of the first month will be against Aston Villa at Selhurst Park in Gameweek 3, but it still won’t be an easy clash.
On August 27, Palace will then travel to the Etihad to take on Man City to cap off a nightmarish month.
Palace have been done a disservice by Premier League match planners
Their next three fixtures then include home matches with Brentford and Manchester United, and a trip to Newcastle.
