Monday 1st August, 19/20 goes to the island of Ouessant, in Finistère. This preserved nature offers an idyllic setting for a relaxing family holiday.
The island of Ouessant, located at the tip of Finistère, can be reached by boat. It is the last island before America. Every summer, families gather here. In coves with turquoise waters and white sand, holidaymakers enjoy. In Ouessant, we do without the superfluous. “We really try to breathe, to do what we are not used to doing, to have less phone“, explains Cécile Bourda, mother of a family. “It’s beautiful, it’s disorienting“, adds Jean-Marc Minguet, father.
The sea rarely exceeds 15°C and swimmers are rare: you have to dare to jump into the clear water. Nature is protected on the island, which is 8 km long and 4 km wide. Tourists discover it on foot, by bike or even on the back of a donkey. Finally, to capture the beauty of the island, a family boards the old lifeboat for a ride around the island. The family enjoyed a vacation, between land and sea, on a preserved island.
