Only “Monsters” Support DeSantis’ “Twisted Bigoted Evil”
Elie Mystal of The Nation’s Sunday MSNBC’s ‘The Mehdi Hasan Show’ that only the ‘monsters’ would support Governor Ron DeSantis (R-FL) moving migrants to Martha’s Vineyard.
Mystal said: “They never do that to white people. We all know that. The fact that these people are not white is built into the system. It’s related to how they’re licensed and how they think they can get away with treating people so disgracefully and treating them like they’re garbage barges that could be sent across the country .
He continued, “The fact that Republicans think thinking about treaty non-whites in this way is a winner for them kind of tells you all you need to know about the state of the modern Republican Party.”
He added, “I think at some level of depth, I don’t often distinguish between MAGA Republicans and other Republicans. They all look like me. But here, I will make a distinction because not all Republicans are like that. This is a specific type of twisted sectarian evil that people like DeSantis are ready to carry. The fact that it works tells you everything you need to know about the monsters supporting the likes of Ron DeSantis.
