An Oklahoma man allegedly killed his friend over the weekend because he believed the victim summoned Bigfoot to kill him while they were fishing, according to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation. and local media.

Larry Doil Sanders, 53, has been arrested and charged with first degree murder.

A state law enforcement special agent wrote that Sanders told him he found out at the river that Knighten “intended to feed him sasquatch/Bigfoot,” according to a affidavit obtained by The Oklahoman.

“LARRY said he believed JIMMY was trying to get away from him so the sasquatch could eat LARRY,” the agent allegedly wrote in the report.

“LARRY didn’t let JIMMY get away. LARRY punched JIMMY and hit him with a stick. LARRY and JIMMY fought for a long time on the ground.”
