No injuries after train derailment in Wyandotte County

KANSAS CITY, Kan. (KCTV) — No one was injured on Friday after a train derailed near Bonner Springs, Kan.

The derailment occurred at 142nd Street and Loring Road.

The Kansas City, Kansas Fire Department says 21 cars were completely derailed, nine of which were low-pressure tank cars carrying isobutane.

No leaks or spills were reported. There is no danger to the public, according to the KCKFD.
